On the Job:

Michele Stengard, DVM, DACVO, has been with BluePearl since 2002. She was the recipient of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association 2010 Gold Star Award. This award is given for outstanding service to the veterinary community promoting continuing education and the advancement of veterinary medicine.

She presently serves on the Pinellas Animal Health Foundation board of directors and is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Florida Veterinary Medical Association, Pinellas County Veterinary Medical Association, and American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists. Her volunteer activities include providing genetic screening exams for the South Eastern Guide Dog Association and consultation for the Florida Aquarium since 2002.

Off Duty:

In her free time, Dr. Stengard enjoys sailing in the gulf, bike riding, tennis, spending time on the beach, reading, and dancing.  She has lived in the Tampa Bay area for more than a decade with her husband and three children.
